Stop the Curfew!

The City of Rochester, NY is considering imposing a curfew.  This would prohibit all persons under 17 from being outside between 11pm and 5am.  There are a number of reasons a curfew is a bad idea.

We have formed the Coalition to Stop the Curfew to educate people about the problems a curfew would cause our community, and to resist any attempt to legislate a curfew.  Please join us in our efforts.

You can peruse the many attempts that ordinary Citizens have made to intelligently engage their leaders on this issue.  Unfortunately, not one supporter of the Mayor's proposal has addressed our points or in any way responded to the people they claim to represent.
